How can we improve Plume?

Integrate Facebook into Touiteur

Yeah I know, but hear me out:

Bloo has stalled, and the Native Client is seriously feature-poor.

We need:

* Choice of in-line integration, or view FB only
* inline comments and likes (no separate page like native FB app)
* Able to click through urls in comments, not just in status
* Able to view pages updates in stream
* View notification events in app (not bounce to web, like native FB app)

Anything else?

It makes me sick to see all the fb drones. what a messed up world.
please don't make anything fb integrated, make it a "looser" fb add-on that smart people do not have to install.

I think, Plume is by far the best Twitter Client on Android. I will by a premium version.
But I really want to get rid of TweetDeck and the last feature, that is hindering me is that TD is able to display the facebook statuses along with my twitter timeline.
So I voted my maximum possible votes on it! :)

Just an extra button while entering tweet that allows to post to both twitter and facebook. Same as tweetcaster.

Wouldn't care too much to have a full out FB client integrated with FB. I just want an a little button that says "Post to FaceBook". Simple.

Please DON'T do it as part of Plume. I'm not a Facebook addict and don't wan't bigger superb Twitter client to be transformed into a Twitter/Facebook mutant like Seesmic or Hootsuite. Those two social networks have many differences so please make it as separate application for those who wan't it. If you do it into Plume another good application will be killed.

I just recently discovered Plume and I have to say, I don't care if the FB option is integrated or stand-alone, just do SOMETHING for Facebook! Plume is BY FAR the best social networking app I have ever seen and being that FB apps are painfully lacking, I crave an app like this for FB. You guys have a brilliant concept here and it's a shame to not see it utilized to its fullest potential.

So please, guys, give us something, ANYTHING, for Facebook! :)

I would love to see a Plume for Facebook (and would pay for it again). Especially if it allowed proper management of Pages, unlike the native client, allowing me to choose whether to post as self or Page, etc.

Would love integration. Would be able to finally get rid of Launcher Pro which has not been updated for a long time.

To be honest, I would have to agree on Plume not getting integration with Facebook. I'd love to see a standalone Facebook client. Facebook for Android is absolutely horrible, the alternative isn't bad, better than FB-A, but has its share of problems. (ie - some friends not showing up, some posts not posting to FB.)

I like Plume the way it is, as a standalone Twitter app, and I feel it should stay that way. After trying a good portion of Twitter apps, I find this one the best. So much that I did put in for the Premium.

I'd definitely put in for a Premium version of a standalone FB app if it was a slicker, more stable version of FB-A,
A CuiCui customized version explicitly to handle FB when it has to go to a browser (unless you can find a way to not make certain things move to a browser like FB-A, and FC sometimes do. -- aka: do everything in the application.)
Automatically support and enforce secure login/browsing.

Yes, at least cross-posting, for sure. I don't necessarily want complete integration... unless it can be customized.

No, please no FB integration. I hate apps that try and do everything. When everything on the Twitter list is done, then you can come back to this (hint: it will NEVER be done).

      • HameedHameed commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I agree with the general idea of cross-posting with a switch to turn it on and off in the tweet window, like how you can switch geo-tagging on and off per tweet, but not a complete facebook integration like a twitter/facebook client, I think that it'd be too much for an app to compeltely support both of them.

All that is needed is the ability to cross post. I can and will go to the FB client to do what I want with that service (which is very few and far between) but I hate having to open a different app to type the same post that I want to go across multiple services. I have literally tried ALL the Twitter apps and love this one as it stands with that one small exception. Sure, it would be nice to read my FB data within Plume. That being said, if that's what is keeping the cross posting ability from being implemented, then dump the reading for the posting.

This is one of the features I like in Seesmic and TweetDeck and I'd like to see it added.
