Chirpeur is so much cleverer than Plume, I'm disappointed that suck an awesome app now has a totally lame name.

I think it should be something a little more 'stick it to the man' like 'Poacher'... Show those Twitter people what we think of them acting all ridiculous about it.

jjfizzil,
Before Seesmic became popular a person probably wouldn't have thought to search for it as a Twitter app. As long as the app is tagged properly in the Market it shouldn't be a problem finding it when I person searches for Twitter.

These top two names are really making me wanna switch to another app.
Touiteur was at least a cool spin on the name sad to see it go. But the name should be reflective of what the app does. I really don't think new browsers to the android market are going to thin of Plume or CuiCui when they look for a twitter app. IMO -

CuiCui is too much a French name. Everyone outside France does'nt know how tot pronounce it. So that's not a good marketing name.
Plume is better in that case.
But... it means "feather" in French?
So... what about "Feather" for a name?
English name, so it would atract much more users!! -

Love it.
@Mickle75 there is an app called Plumes but it is a Live Wallpaper. I think putting the title as "Plume (Twitter)" just like it is now would suffice. Tweetdeck does the same thing in their posting in Android Market.

Plume ? Quel rapport avec le fait de tweeter ? CuiCui est bien plus approprié !

I agree Michael! Changing my CuiCui vote over to Plume. Hopefully this will move Plume out of reach.

Much easier to pronounce and less chance of mispelling it (ciuciu?)
